Intershop Summit 2026

Our partner, Intershop Communication AG, based in Jena, held this year’s partner meeting in Berlin from 11 to 12 May 2026, in the office complex at the main railway station.

Now in its second year, the eCommerce Brigade was once again in attendance.

Focus on artificial intelligence

Around 100 international Intershop customers, partners and Intershop experts spent two consecutive days discussing the latest developments within the Intershop network, at Intershop itself, the technical innovations of the Intershop Commerce Platform, and the key topic of AI (Artificial Intelligence) / AI, which is utilised in development, platform migrations and the integration of innovative features into the Intershop platform.

Interesting details were revealed about this year’s Spring Release, which introduces AI-based agents for buyers and merchants that will both further enhance the online shopping experience for customers and provide shop and platform operators with efficient tools to streamline recurring business processes and make the most of the potential for revenue growth and cost reductions.

Specialist presentations, workshops and hospitality

As in previous years, this summit also featured a wealth of diverse, practical specialist presentations, drawing on experiences from exciting Intershop projects and from leading Intershop clients, as well as a range of interesting workshops.

Taking part in an Intershop Partner Day is always a special occasion for us. As well as offering a selection of attractive meeting rooms and an interesting programme of thought-provoking and innovative presentations, workshops and discussions, the Intershop team spares no effort in ensuring a very welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.

Evening event and Partner Awards

A particularly popular part of the Summits are the evening events, which feature the announcement of the well-deserved ‘Partner of the Year’ awards. Here, too, the Intershop Marketing Team impresses with its careful selection of the venue for this joint evening event, thereby providing an excellent setting in which the international participants at the Partner Summit can engage in relaxed conversation. A special highlight of this year’s evening event, held between the two days of the summit, was not only a boat trip on a bungalow boat but also the presentation of the annual Partner Awards.
