Front-end / Back-end Development – eCommerce
We are looking for you to join our team, bringing your specialist knowledge and skills to front-end and/or back-end development of innovative eCommerce platforms, starting as part of an international project team working on an exciting client project in the B2B sector.
Your tasks

Development & Further Development
- AI-supported development and enhancement of eCommerce applications based on standard eCommerce applications
- Adaptation and expansion of existing systems whilst they remain in operation
- Implementation of individual business logic and functional requirements
- Design of interactive and user-friendly user interfaces
- Development of dynamic single-page applications (SPAs)
- Technical implementation of sophisticated UX/UI concepts
- Responsive Design Adjustments
- Development and maintenance of modular, maintainable software components
Interfaces & Performance
- Integration of external systems such as ERP, PIM, CRM or payment solutions
- Development and integration of APIs / web services
- Implementation of headless commerce solutions
- Processing and synchronisation of data between different systems
- Caching optimisation
Quality & Collaboration
- Support for integration and migration projects
- Analysis and optimisation of performance, loading times and system stability
- Optimisation of database structures and queries
- Error analysis, debugging and creative problem-solving
- Ensuring clean, well-documented and traceable code
- Code Reviews
Your profile
[ What you bring ]
Professional qualifications
- Experience in developing interactive web and eCommerce applications
- Good / very good knowledge of PHP (ideally PHP 8.x)
- Confidence in object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL / MariaDB)
- Knowledge of working with APIs and web services
- Practical knowledge of developing single-page applications (SPAs)
Technical understanding & working methods
- A structured, independent and responsible approach to work
- Understanding of eCommerce processes and B2B business models
- Ability to analyse technical requirements and implement them effectively
- AI-assisted software development
- Experience with version control (GIT/GITLab) and CI/CD deployment processes
- Working with Atlassian Jira & Confluence
- Respectful communication & down-to-earth attitude
